AI Prompt to Find the One Thing in Your Finances Worth Knowing Today
This prompt asks the model to pick exactly one finding from your figures: the one with the largest likely effect on your risk, growth or room to act. It backs that finding with no more than three facts and one example. Use it on days when a full review is too much and you want the single point worth thinking about.
What you need
Paste the snapshot template on this page. You can paste all of it, or only one part, for example just your debts or just the holdings in one category, if that is the part you want the insight about. The model looks only at what you give it.
Add one line below the snapshot:
- Things I already know (skip these): [e.g. "my flat is most of my net worth", or "nothing"]
This line stops the model from spending its one insight on something you have known for years. Most balance sheets have one obvious fact, such as a home or one employer's shares making up most of the total, and a model goes for the obvious unless told otherwise.
Fill in the optional CONTEXT lines of the snapshot if you can, and add interest rates to your debts. Monthly spending lets the model work out how many months your cash would last. Interest rates let it compare what your debts cost with what your savings earn. Both are common sources of a useful finding, and neither works without the numbers.
If a figure is an estimate, mark it as one. The model is told to prefer findings your data supports well, and it can only judge that if it knows which numbers are firm.
Here is my financial snapshot. Use only these numbers.

You are a personal finance analyst. Using only my snapshot above, find the single
most important thing I should understand about these figures today.
Things I already know (skip these): [list, or "nothing"]
1. Consider several possible findings, such as concentration, debt compared with
assets, cash compared with spending, currency exposure or a recent change.
Rank them by likely effect on my finances and by how well my numbers support
them. Show me only the one that ranks first.
2. Give one to three facts from my snapshot that support it, with the
arithmetic.
3. State the finding in one or two plain sentences, without jargon or ratings.
4. Explain what it means in practice, with one simple example using my numbers.
5. Suggest one proportionate thing to look into. If my data does not support a
responsible next step, say so and stop.
Prefer a well-supported finding over a dramatic one. If a number is missing, ask
me for it rather than estimating. No buy or sell recommendations and no product
picks. This is educational, not advice. What good output looks like
The answer should be short and in this order: supporting facts, the finding, an example, one next step. A list of five insights means the model skipped the ranking; ask it to choose.
Say your snapshot shows €38,000 in current and savings accounts paying 1.5%, €310,000 in a flat, €46,000 in ETFs, and a €9,000 car loan at 7.9%, with monthly spending of €2,400. A good finding here is about cash. The facts: €38,000 covers almost 16 months of spending, and the car loan costs about €711 a year in interest at a rate more than five times what the savings pay. The finding, in plain words: a large cash balance earning 1.5% sits next to a loan costing 7.9%. The next step should be modest, such as checking whether the loan carries an early repayment fee and deciding how many months of spending you want to keep in cash.
On debts alone, the finding can be different. With a CZK 1,800,000 mortgage at 4.9% and CZK 30,000 on a credit card at 21%, the card is 1.6% of what you owe but 6.7% of the year's interest, CZK 6,300 out of CZK 94,500. A good answer shows both shares, because the gap between them is the finding.
What this can't tell you
The model chooses the finding from what you paste. Leave out a pension or a loan from family and the "most important" point may be about the wrong thing. Ranking findings by impact is a judgement, and two runs on the same figures can pick different ones; both may be worth reading.
It cannot know your plans, such as a house purchase next spring that explains a large cash balance. Comparisons between interest paid and interest earned ignore tax on savings interest in your country unless you give the rates, and the model gives no tax advice. It has no live rates or prices. Recheck every month count and percentage it calculates, since one slipped decimal can turn a minor point into the headline.
