AI Prompt That Teaches One Money Concept Using Your Own Balance Sheet
This prompt turns your own balance sheet into a short lesson. The model looks for the one financial idea your figures make most relevant, such as liquidity, debt-to-asset ratio or inflation, defines it in a sentence or two, and teaches it with your numbers. You finish with one check you can repeat without the model.
What you need
Paste the snapshot template on this page with your figures. The lesson is built from them, so a fuller snapshot gives the model more to choose from. Interest rates on debts and the CONTEXT lines (income, spending, monthly saving) open up concepts such as the cost of debt or how long your cash would last. Without them, the model tends to fall back on diversification, because that is about all a bare list of holdings shows.
Add one line below the snapshot:
- My experience level: [new to this / know the basics / comfortable with terms like ETF and interest rate fixation]
The level sets the depth. Someone new should get a plain definition and one comparison. Someone experienced should get a concept past the basics, for example the difference between nominal and real returns (before and after inflation), instead of an explanation of what a savings account is.
To aim the lesson at one part of your finances, paste only that part, for example your debts. Each run teaches one concept. When you run it again later with fresh figures, add "not [the previous concept]" to the level line to get a different one.
Here is my financial snapshot. Use only these numbers.

You are a personal finance teacher. Using only my snapshot above, teach me one
financial concept that my own figures make relevant.
My experience level: [new to this / know the basics / comfortable with terms]
1. Start with one to three facts from my snapshot that make the concept
relevant. Show the arithmetic.
2. Name exactly one concept and define it in one or two plain sentences. Define
any technical term the moment you use it.
3. Teach it with my numbers, including one simple comparison or example.
4. Explain what it means for my resilience, risk, costs or growth.
5. Give me one simple check I can apply when I look at my finances again.
6. End with a one-sentence takeaway.
Teach one concept only, not an overview. If a number is missing, ask me for it
rather than estimating. No buy or sell recommendations and no product picks. This
is educational, not advice. What good output looks like
The concept should follow from the facts the model lists first. If the answer opens with a definition, the model has skipped the step that makes the lesson about you.
Say you hold €14,000 in cash, €62,000 in a pension fund you cannot touch until 60, and €35,000 in ETFs, and you spend €2,000 a month. A good choice here is liquidity: how quickly something can become spendable money without a loss. The facts: cash covers 7 months of spending; the pension is 56% of your €111,000 in assets but out of reach for decades; the ETFs can be sold within days, at whatever the price is that week.
The comparison then puts it in your terms: €111,000 of assets, but only 7 months of spending available at once, or about 24 months if you count the ETFs at today's price. The check at the end should be something you can repeat alone, such as dividing cash by monthly spending and writing the number down each quarter.
Another reader, with a CZK 2,900,000 mortgage and CZK 400,000 in savings, might get the debt-to-asset ratio or the gap between the mortgage rate and the savings rate instead. A weak answer teaches three concepts at once, or defines one without ever touching your figures.
What this can't tell you
The model picks the concept from what it sees, which is not always what you most need to learn. Definitions from a language model can be slightly off, especially for terms with a legal meaning in your country, such as pension access rules or deposit insurance limits; check those with an official source. Examples built from your figures carry any errors in them.
One concept per run is deliberate, so the lesson will not show how ideas interact, for example how inflation changes the case for holding cash. It knows nothing about tax rules where you live unless you tell it, and even then it gives no tax advice. Treat the lesson as general education.
